10 years after the events of the original game "Lost Planet" events on the planet are beginning to develop more rapidly. After a successful start terraformatsii planet, glaciers covering its surface began to melt and they were replaced by impenetrable jungle. Local fauna have adapted to new conditions much faster than it would like people to settlers and the war for the planet flare up with renewed vigor. New types of locusts, a much more aggressive and dangerous, but armed settlers also reached a new stage of development, becoming more deadly.
